Project: A.K

A syndicate is a hidden species that appears human but possesses supernatural abilities and a goal of human extinction, operating in secret to take control of large corporations. Each syndicate has a unique ability, alongside a shared power of soul extraction. Project A.K.—a government-funded task force run by Atlas Chemicals—aims to eliminate them. Members, like Reaper and Mason, have powers marked by darkness or light, with each power shaped by personality traits.

Team A.K. members (sorted by age into young and old groups) use alias names and the Special Targets Unit as a cover. Those with "darkness" powers exhibit distinctive hair colors, while "light" powers are marked by the Project A.K. logo. The powers provide enhanced agility, strength, healing, and more, but come with pain and bodily transformation.

Despite being powerful, they’re still not as strong as the syndicates. Project members operate independently from the government to avoid becoming targets if discovered. The Vice President authorized Atlas Chemicals to develop this force to combat syndicates, with each recruit warned of the risks and pain involved.
